Community Upcycling Festival

From May 25th to 26th join the Revelstoke community in celebrating the four 'R's': reduce, reuse, recycle, and repurpose. Shop local upcycled goods, learn to repair gear or goods, take part in free crafts, and more!

Saturday May 25

8AM - 1PM | Downtown on Second Street

Re-Fest takes over downtown with the Re-Craft upcycled goods market, hands-on crafts and repair cafes, a print-with-plants workshop, music, games and more!

  • The Re-Craft Market: shop upcycled goods from creative local and regional vendors.
  • Repair Cafe: Learn how to repair your outdoor gear, small household appliances and more with our helpful and handy volunteers.
  • Hands-on Crafts: FREE walk-up activities. Learn a new skill around repairing and repurposing.
  • Printing with Plants: Join natural dye artist Jaime Kraus to learn how to print with plants on an upcycled bandana or personal item. This workshop requires pre-registration.

7PM - 9PM | Downtown on Second Street

The ever-popular Trashion Show presented by Birch & Lace takes place Saturday evening, along with ice cream from the Sugar Shack and a film premiere from our friends at Patagonia.

  • Trashion Show: presented by Birch & Lace. A fashion show where all the looks are made from trash that otherwise would have ended up in the dump. Come see how creative our community can be!
  • Shitthropocene: Patagonia Film Screening. This film from Re-Fest sponsor Patagonia highlights our complicated relationship with consumption and the clothing industry.
