Revelstoke is nestled between the Selkirk and Monashee mountains, accessed by the Trans Canada Highway. Neither too remote nor too accessible, getting here is part of the adventure.
Be sure to consider the season and the weather when planning your trip. If you are planning a winter visit, consider taking the shuttle if you are not comfortable with winter driving.
By Air
We recommend flying to Kelowna International Airport (YLW). From Kelowna, it’s a 2.5-hour drive or shuttle ride to Revelstoke. Car rentals and shuttles are available at the Kelowna airport. Private shuttle transfers are available through Revelstoke Transfers and Kelowna Transfers.

Kelowna International Airport (YLW) has increased its flight offerings with daily nonstop flights from Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Vancouver, Seattle, and Los Angeles. Airlines flying into YLW include Air Canada, WestJet, Alaska Airlines, and Pacific Coastal.
By Road
Getting to Revelstoke from the east takes you through the dramatic peaks of Roger’s Pass on Highway #1. Coming from the west, you pass through the scenic Okanagan Valley. There’s easy access from both the east and west, and also well-maintained highways linking the city of Kelowna, 2.5 hours to the south. Budget for extra driving time in the winter, and book ahead to get winter tires on your rental vehicle.
