You don't want to miss out on visiting a hot spring or two while you're in Revelstoke; they're a key part of the culture of the Kootenays. All year round, both locals and visitors love to take time to soak out their muscles after a day of adventures.

Just south of Revelstoke on Highway 23, Halcyon Hot Springs offers luxury accommodation in nature with mineral hot spring access overlooking Upper Arrow Lake. Flanking the west side of Revelstoke are Crazy Creek Hot Pools, located on a historical site that was once a small town called Taft, dating back to the late 1800s. On the east side of Revelstoke between Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks lies Canyon Hot Springs with two mineral hot springs.

If you're looking for a full-day activity on a rainy day, the Halfway River Hot Springs is a great adventure, approximately 1.5 hours from Revelstoke. Halfway River Hot Springs is the most rugged of the nearby hot springs, accessed by a logging road and a steep trail. 4x4 is strongly recommended. The road is not accessible by vehicle during the winter months.

This site is maintained by BC Rec Sites and Trails, with a shelter for changing and outhouses on site. There are no garbage facilities on site; please pack out what you packed in and leave this area better than the way you found it to #SustainTheStoke.
