A small town with big mountain scenery.
Downtown Revelstoke is small and walkable. In the summer, a bike is recommended to get you anywhere in town. Rentals are available.
The Revelstoke Public Transit Service provides bus service every day. Local taxi service is also available.
We have two car rental services in Revelstoke:
Accessing Revelstoke Mountain Resort by bus.
Easily access Revelstoke Mountain Resort without the need of a personal car. BC transit operates a daily resort shuttle route with frequent and on-time stops within Revelstoke. The bus can also be used to travel around town efficiently.
You can either purchase a bus pass ahead of time or pay for a one-way fare directly on the bus. Please bring exact cash as the drivers do not carry change. Each ride is $2 (drivers do not handle cash or make change; please ensure you have exact change). Many accommodations offer complimentary ski shuttle passes with your stay; be sure to ask at your hotel's front desk.
Parking Around Revelstoke.
It's like chess, strategic parking moves are a must. Lots of snow means lots of snow plowing. The City of Revelstoke requires vehicles to be moved every 24 hours. This gives the plows a chance to clear the area. Plan on hitting the town for apres? Leave the car at your accommodation and not downtown. There are signs throughout downtown listing overnight No Parking time zones.
