Tourism Revelstoke is a member driven non-profit Destination Marketing Organization. This collaborative effort is led by the Revelstoke Accommodation Association (RAA) and the Visitor Experiences Department of the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce (RCOC) who both have their respective volunteer board of directors.

Mission: To inspire value-aligned visitors worldwide to experience Revelstoke and to grow sustainable tourism opportunities that benefit the community

Strategic Priorities

A Year-Round Destination:

We will maintain our peak seasons of visitation while looking at opportunities to increase non-peak season market development.

A Multi-Day Stay:

We will conduct effective destination marketing in target markets with a focus on generating incremental overnight stays in paid accommodation.

Remarkable Visitor Experiences:

We will provide exceptional visitor services and remarkable visitor experiences. We will offer visitors with information to support longer lengths of stay and increased spending. We will educate and train stakeholders and the community at-large to deliver remarkable experiences. The visitor experience function will also serve as the core support center for stakeholder marketing opportunities and brochure development.

Holistic Destination Stewardship:

We will direct our energy towards a balanced long term tourism vision for the community, shifting from solely focusing on destination marketing to include destination management initiatives. Our tourism growth will be co-created responsibly across sectors and industries through collaboration and alignment. We will take a lead role in the management and development of tourism in our destination.

Organizational Excellence:

We will be a leader in tourism advocacy initiatives and stakeholder engagement & support. We will continue to find alternative revenue streams and work collaboratively with neighboring communities, regions, and provincial sectors. We will strive to be recognized as a best practice DMO in British Columbia and beyond.
