Spend a day on the lake or by a mountain stream.
Whether you want to fly fish or gear fish, there's something here for you. There are over 200 rivers, creeks, and streams churning with freshwater fish around Revelstoke, all within 50 kms of town. If you want to snag some giant bull trout, you’ll want to be on Upper Arrow Lake, Lake Revelstoke or Kinbasket Lake in early spring or late fall for open water trolling. The bigger lakes have big fetches and can pick up strong winds, so be sure to keep an eye on the weather. In mid-summer and early fall (prime time!), fish for cutthroat and rainbow trout. Make sure you have your BC fishing license, and if you need some assistance, talk to one of our knowledgable local guides.
