The annual Bank Heist Time Trial is back!
Are you a trail runner or hiking enthusiast looking for a challenge? Look no further!
Join us on Saturday, September 14, for our 6th annual time trial run up one of North America’s most legendary ski runs,
Kill the Banker. This isn’t your average trail. You’ll be pushing yourself up 3.7 kilometers of steep, rocky terrain, weaving in and out of boulder fields and the sub-alpine forest from mid-station to the top of the Revelation Gondola.
Your quads will be burning, your heart will be pumping, and you’ll be facing more vertical than most can handle. It’s the ultimate Type 2 fun!
Whether you’re competing for a spot on the podium or looking to achieve a PB, have fun with it! Dress up and conquer the mountain with friends and enjoy a cold one at the top!
Race fees include awesome swag, an on-course fuel station, a professional timing system, and a cold beer (or non-alcoholic option) waiting for you at the finish line.
*Participants without a season pass will be provided gondola access to mid-station. Lift passes will be distributed at athlete registration on Saturday morning starting at 8 am.
Event Schedule:
Saturday, September 14, 2024.
- 8:00-9:30 AM – Athlete check-in @ The Paul Mair Plaza.
- 9:30 AM – Racers load gondola to mid-station.
- 9:45 AM – Pre-race announcement and safety briefing.
- 9:50 AM – Racers begin to line up in start order.
- 10:00 AM – First racer on the course. Racers start in 30-second intervals.
- 10:50 AM – Last racer on the course. 10:30/11:00 AM – Racers start to cross the finish line.
- 1:00 PM – Last racer to cross the finish line. Based on a 2-hour course time limit.
- 1:30 PM – Awards at The Mackenzie Outpost *Subject to change based on finishing times
