Open Community Wide Project
The Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre is thrilled to announce our print swap, specially crafted for our local printmakers (linocutting, lithography, screen printing, e.c.t). Similar to a cookie swap, participants are invited to print 5 copies of the same design. In return, you’ll receive 5 original designs from 5 different artists. This event is a delightful opportunity to connect with fellow creatives in town and expand your art collection!
– $4 Participation fee
– Open to all ages and abilities, beginners and experts alike!
– Open to any hand printed mediums (No digital reproductions at this time)
– Prints should be roughly 4″ x 6″ (They can be a little bigger, smaller, or a different shape)
– Participants are welcome to print an existing design, or take this as inspiration to create something new!
– All work must be your original design. Copied studies are good for practicing, but shouldn’t be shared with your name attached.
– Drop off is open January 24 – February 24
Artists can pick up their new prints starting February 28th
