a historic revival
MARCH 1-3, 2024
Three days of winter activities, live music, arts, and culture, all while raising money for participating local non-profits. All music and activities were held at Centennial Park along the beautiful Columbia River.
SNOWMOBILE SKIJOURING
Skijoring is a winter sport in which a person on skis is pulled by a horse, a dog (or dogs), another animal, or a motor vehicle. At the 2024 Winter Carnival, we will be using snowmobiles for an incredible evening of ski jumping.
FAMILY FRIENDLY DOG SLEDDING
Experience the exhilaration of dog sledding with our friendly canine companions. This unique event is open to everyone, and entry is by donation. Meet the incredible sled dogs, learn a small bit about mushing, and enjoy a special "petting zoo" with these lovable furry athletes. First come first serve. ***Please do NOT bring your furry friends.
ICE SKATING & BROOMBALL
Join the Revelstoke After School Society for a fun afternoon of Ice Skating and Broomball at the Revelstoke forum, 11:30a-2:30p.
Costumes are encouraged and welcome! Hot chocolate bar and skates are available.
Enter by donation.
SNOW SCULPTURE COMPETITION
Join in on this time-honoured Revelstoke Winter Carnival tradition. Create your vision solo or gather a team and create the snow sculpture of your dreams. As at Carnivals past folks would create their sculpture in their front yards. In 2024 you can choose to create at home, business, organization or at Centennial Park!
FROZEN FIREBALLS
Community cold dip! Yikes! Can you handle the icey hype?
HOCKEY GAME
Let's get ready to rumble! Fire Department vs RCMP. March 2, 2024 / 6:30p - 9:00p. Entry by donation with proceeds going to the departments.
