Here are our top 12 things to do in Revelstoke in the winter.

If you're interested in snowmobiling but don't have the experience or avalanche safety training, check out Great Canadian Tours. They offer half-day trail tours where you can drive a snowmobile into the alpine.
Revelstoke is the Heli-Skiing capital of the world. Check if there's room for a day heli while you're in town!

A special mention to Craft Bierhaus, which has an extensive list of beers on tap.
A Night Out.
So you want to go out tonight?
The Rivercity Pub, aka The Regent, is known for its pub atmosphere. They stream major sports like UFC, NFL, and NHL. The pub hosts Trivia nights on Tuesdays and Karaoke on Wednesdays. On weekends, they regularly have live music. Closes at 12.
The Last Drop sits between the pub and nightclub category. They serve food, have two pool tables, and regularly host DJ or band shows. Check out their social media before heading out to see if they are hosting a ticketed show.
If you're looking to party all night, you'll want to head to Traverse. They have a large dancefloor!
The Legion is the spot to be on a Friday for their Karaoke night. The Legion is an iconic small-town mountain experience in British Columbia.
Seoul Street is an underdog on this list with a couple of arcade games, a pool table, and happy hour deals. A great "pre-game" spot for those who know what that means.
Spa + Beauty.
You're on vacation, why wouldn't you want a relaxing experience?

Shopping.
Revelstoke shops are owned and run by local community members, a concept that can be rare in other mountain towns. There are a couple of areas to shop in Revelstoke:
Downtown Revelstoke
Mackenzie Village
Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
Most shops are located in the downtown core. Find everything from art galleries, gear shops and servicing, gift shops, clothing stores, groceries, bakeries, and consignment shops.
Head to the Visual Arts Centre gift shop and the Local Art Co-op for locally made art. Revelstoke branded apparel (REVELSTOKE.) can be found at the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre, along with many retailers around town.

Fitness Classes.

Nordic Skiing.
Nordic skiing is a different type of skiing, its slower paced, its scenic, its good exercise. Revelstoke has four nordic skiing areas:
Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club, located at Mt Macpherson, has 26km of groomed Nordic trails, and 6km are floodlit for night use. RNSC has lots of incline and decline, stick to green rated trails if you're a beginner!
The Illecillewaet Greenbelt trails are located near downtown Revelstoke and offer flat, chill-paced Nordic skiing near the Columbia River.
The Meadows in the Sky Parkway in Mount Revelstoke National Park offers +300m ascent to the Columbia Viewpoint, followed by a fast descent back to the trailhead.
The Revelstoke Golf Course will also have a groomed classic trail for the 2025/2026 season as conditions allow. Stay tuned for details.
Local Tip: The Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club has 6km of trails lit up at night. It's a stunning, serene evening activity many locals enjoy.

Dog Sledding.
Revelstoke Dog Sled Adventures will take you on a tour of Revelstoke's winter wonderland. Their cute sled dogs are happiest when they are running. On a clear day, you will dog sled through mountain valleys with stellar views of glaciers, mountain peaks, and our wintery interior temperate rainforest.

Workshops + Classes.
For those visiting, there are weekend and one-off workshops and classes that welcome visitors and locals alike! Check out:
The Clay Collective's schedule of one-off pottery classes
Join a The Makery Workshop in the new year
Sign up for a Revelstoke Visual Art Centre workshop. They run woodshop projects, jewelry making, painting, sketching, and writing classes.

Snowshoe + Winter Hiking.
Winter hiking isn't very popular due to the amount of snow Revy gets. Often, winter hiking means post-holing through snowy trails (not fun, but a sweaty workout). Instead, we recommend renting a pair of snowshoes and heading out to snowshoe trails at:
Mount Revelstoke National Park
Illicillewaet Greenbelt
Mount Macpherson
