About Revelstoke

While the town was officially founded in the 1880s, First Nations peoples have occupied the Columbia River Valley for centuries. Revelstoke as it is known today was born when the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) was built through the area. Since then it has evolved into an epic adventure destination.
