A week of winter activities
Revelstoke is famous for skiing, snowmobiling, and adventure sports, but there is so much more to our little mountain town. If you come for a week you’ll get to enjoy all that Revelstoke has to offer and get your fill of adventure. This itinerary will give you a plan for a ski week that weaves in some other amazing winter activities.
Day One.
During the day
When you arrive you’ll no doubt be itching to hit the slopes, so why delay? Head straight up to Revelstoke Mountain Resort and get a feel for the hill! Revelstoke Mountain Resort boasts the most vertical in North America, so there is plenty of terrain to explore. We recommend checking out The Last Spike, a green run that spans almost the whole mountain. Sure, it’s not the most thrilling, but it takes you on a tour of the hill and helps you orient yourself. From there you'll be able to make a plan of attack to make the most of your ski days.
After the slopes
For apres, checkout the Mackenzie Common Tavern located right at the bottom of the hill. There is outdoor seating and a food truck to ensure that you can enjoy your apres without crowding.

Day Two.
During the day
Before Revelstoke was known for its ski hill, it was a destination for snowmobilers. Whether you have no experience or you’re an expert, Great Canadian Tours has something for you. You’ll get high above Revelstoke and get rewarded with deep snow, great views, and a hell of an adrenaline rush!
If you want to fit in a day of skiing beforehand, not to worry - Great Canadian offers sunset tours as well! Take in the beautiful sunset views from Frisby Ridge before heading down to Revelstoke in the dark.
In the evening
For apres, head to Mount Begbie Brewing and enjoy their tasty beverages and great food, including share plates to feed the crew. A great option is to fill your growlers there and head to the comfort of your accommodation to relax.

Day Three.
During the day
Now that you’ve had a chance to check out a few options for adventure, learn a little more about our history and take in our thriving arts scene. Our town is home to the Revelstoke Railway Museum and the Revelstoke Museum and Archives. Both offer a fascinating look at Revelstoke’s history.
In the evening
While you’re exploring downtown, check out the Art Alleries, a project that is turning the back alleys of Revelstoke into public art galleries. Enjoy our local shops and pick up some souvenirs to take home with you. To check out more of our visual arts scene, Art First is an artists’ cooperative shop located right downtown. The Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre also showcases the talents of artists from the local region.
While you’re on that side of town, we recommend having dinner at The Big Eddy Pub or ordering ahead for takeout. It’s a locals’ favourite and well known for having great caesars and one of the best burgers in Revelstoke.
For Day Three
Day Four.
During the day
To truly experience Revelstoke Mountain Resort, you need more than one day. In fact, you probably need a few. Make sure you explore all the terrain from South Bowl to North Bowl. You haven’t truly skied Revelstoke until you’ve hiked subpeak and the Lemming Line to access even more vertical. To get the most of your experience, try participating in First Tracks or taking a ski lesson.
Après
Once you’ve skied ‘til you’re ready to drop, check out The Taco Club for dinner. Like almost all Revelstoke Restaurants, they’re offering take-out as well as dine-in. To avoid waiting, consider ordering take out to enjoy at your accommodations. Pick up a growler of beer from Rumpus Beer Company and relax.

If you are a fit and experienced skier with a desire to try something different, check out the various options for guided ski touring trips. Several experienced guiding operations can get you out into the backcountry to experience solitude, powder, and amazing lines.
Not keen on skiing uphill? Fair enough - head up to Revelstoke Mountain Resort for one more ski day. There is more than enough terrain to keep you entertained! Test yourself by skiing Snow Rodeo from the very top to the village base. For arguably the best views on mid-mountain, scoot over to Sunshine for the ultimate groomer lap in the sunshine.
Après
You’ll be hungry once you’re done for the day - check out Emo’s and grab a Greek platter, or order something from their expansive takeout menu to enjoy at your accommodation.

Day Six.
During the day
Live it up and book a heli or cat ski day. Revelstoke is the heart of the Canadian heli and cat ski industry, and with endless powder days, you don’t want to miss out on the chance to get into the deep stuff! Our local providers will hook you up with great guides and a world-class experience.
If your legs are giving you grief after your week of adventure, try booking a dog sledding trip with Revelstoke Dogsled Adventures. They’ll get you out exploring our beautiful mountain scenery behind a crew of Alaskan Racing Huskies who will do the leg work out for you. You can cozy up in the sled and take in the mountain views.
Après
After your day of adventure, fill your calorie deficit with delicious eats from Paramjit’s Kitchen, or Pam’s Kitchen, as it’s known locally, offers Indian, German, and Thai food. The Indian-German fusion food is a menu highlight - the Butter Chicken Schnitzel with Spätzle is exactly the creamy, delicious comfort food you’ll be craving.
