On the hill.
If the whole family isn’t skiing at the same level, consider booking lessons - available for kids, teens, and adults. The Resort has different areas that will keep skiers and riders of all levels entertained. Beginners will love the lower half of the mountain below the gondola, where there are wide mellow runs to practice turns. The Stellar chair also offers short green runs to get the legs prepared for Revelstoke’s vertical. Intermediate skiers and riders will find plenty of terrain to explore at the Ripper Chair, including mellow tree runs and some fun and fast groomers. Advanced skiers and riders will love the upper mountain. From the steep groomers of the Stoke Chair to the untracked powder of North Bowl, there is enough terrain to keep you occupied for days.
If the whole family wants to meet up for lunch, make sure to book your table ahead of time. There are mid-mountain and base dining options.
Off-hill activities.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoe tours and rentals are available to get out exploring on two feet. There are a number of different options with varying views. Be sure to check our snowshoe map to ensure you’re not heading into avalanche terrain. A guided tour is the best way to get the most out of your snowshoe experience.
Nordic Skiing
Nordic skiing is another fun way for the kids to burn some energy. There are rentals and lessons available at the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Club. Newbies will have a great time trying to find their balance (and inevitably falling in a heap of giggles), and experienced nordic skiers will find the trails fun and challenging. If your family has four members or fewer, you can hang out in the Ole Sandberg cabin - BYOHC (bring your own hot chocolate)!
Indoors
For a down day or an evening, try the Revelstuck Escape Rooms. Get the family together and try your hand at solving yourself out of one of the themed escape rooms.
The Revelstoke Railway Museum also offers great exhibits that are sure to entertain the kids. They'll love the train simulator, a scavenger hunt, and other fun exhibits.
