Downtown.
Downtown Revy is by far the most historically rich area, where heritage homes and restored commercial buildings line the streets. Explore Victoria Ave, Mackenzie Ave, First, Second, and Third Street for a taste of the small town charm.
All of our businesses in the downtown core are locally owned and operated. You will find farm-to-table lunch spots, numerous cafes, and plenty of outdoor outfitters for all your recreating needs.
Watch the train pass through town, visit the Railway Museum, and the Revelstoke Museum and Archives to learn more about our rich history.
Head down to Centennial Park to see the Columbia River, great views of Mount Begbie, and walking paths along the Greenbelt.

Farwell.
15 Minute Walk to Downtown | Bike Friendly
Farwell is a quiet residential neighbourhood with urban green spaces, access to the Big Eddy Bridge and Columbia River, a wellness studio, and the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre.
Before Revelstoke had its name, the first settlement was known as Farwell, founded by Mr. Farwell, around the railway. When Canadian Pacific found business costs too high in Farwell, they established their townsite right next door, naming it Revelstoke after Lord Revelstoke. Today, the area closest to the highway is still called Farwell.
