Canada Strong Pass.

From December 12, 2025 to January 15, 2026, entrance to Canada’s National Parks is free!

A winter permit is required before entering Glacier National Park.

Winter in our national parks is extremely different to summer. There are no winter hiking trails.

How it works

The Canada Strong Pass is not a physical pass that you need to purchase, sign up for, or collect. Simply visit any participating Parks Canada site, museum, gallery, or VIA Rail to benefit from free admissions or discounts.
