Explore snow-covered trails on two wheels.

Fat biking is relatively new to Revelstoke, but there are several trail options and fat bike rentals are available locally. On a clear day, there's nothing like cruising beside the river and taking in the Selkirks and Monashees from the valley bottom.

Mount Revelstoke National Park

In Mount Revelstoke National Park, fat biking is allowed on the Soren Sorensen 2 km and 5 km trails and the Meadows in the Sky Parkway up to the Inspiration Woods trailhead (where the 5 km loop meets the parkway).

Be aware that there is no grooming and dogs must be on a leash.

Greenbelt Trails

If you're looking for an easier or quick ride, the Greenbelt Trails near the Columbia River offer flat, packed snow paths, great for beginners or just a relaxed cruise.

These trails are groomed by the Illicelewaet Greenbelt Society. Please read their reports so you know which trails are groomed for the use of fat bikes (and to avoid cycling on nordic paths).
