Help us make revelstoke a cleaner, greener destination.
Whether you're just visiting Revelstoke or here for the long haul, choosing more environmentally friendly transportation options will help us keep those powder filled winter days we love.
Revelstoke is a small town, so biking and walking are generally viable options. When walking or biking isn't going to work, consider taking advantage of public transit, shuttles, or choosing an electric vehicle.
Go by Bike.
Revelstoke is a bike friendly city. Our motorists are used to making room for cyclists, and there are a number of greenways and designated bike routes throughout the city.
Most of our accommodators are well equipped to accommodate cyclists. There are a number of bike racks throughout the city, and a bike repair station located right downtown next to the Telus building.
Unsure of where to go on two wheels? Ride over to our Visitor Information Centre and ask our friendly counsellors.
Take public transit.
Getting to Revelstoke by bus is easy; there are services from Calgary, Vancouver, and Kelowna. For more information, check out our Getting Here page.
All year round there is a convenient BC Transit service throughout town.

Head out on two feet.
Downtown Revelstoke is small and walkable. If you're staying in a central location, your own two feet should be plenty to get you out and about. It takes about ten minutes to walk from one end of downtown to the other.
Revelstoke is one of only a handful of places where you can walk from downtown to a National Park!
