Revelstoke is working towards developing accessible tourism products, services and activities. We want to ensure every person can participate in our experiences.

Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre is accessible and is complete with a universal bathroom. They have plenty of resources and information on accessibility in Revelstoke.

Many Provincial Parks offer features such as adaptive recreation equipment, trail systems, and universal-design considerations.

Arts Revelstoke

Arts Revelstoke is the professional organization for Arts and Culture in Revelstoke, producing cultural events, spearheading public art projects, and developing the arts and cultural scene in Revelstoke.

BC Interior Forestry Museum

We work to record, preserve, restore, and display artifacts and collections of historical, archaeological, artistic, educational, and scientific material as it pertains to the forestry industry of British Columbia. Explore the museum (open seasonally) and the Riverside Forest Walk (open year-round).

Revelstoke Dam Visitor Centre

Learn about the history of the dam, enjoy exhibits, and experience our First Nations Gallery. When you arrive, you'll be in front of one of the most powerful dams in B.C. Whether you're on a guided or self-guided tour, you'll be able to take an elevator to the top of the dam for a breathtaking downstream view of the Columbia River Valley. Open May 18 through September 2, 2024.

Revelstoke Forum is home to the Revelstoke Grizzlies Hockey Team. The forum is available for group rentals for skating, broomball, pick-up hockey, or birthday parties.

Miller Time Adaptive Loop

This smooth and wide trail is perfect for beginners, adaptive riders, run bikers and the whole family.

Miller time is 1.1 km long and lined with beautiful old trees. There are many beautiful views of the Wells Creek. This cross country trail starts and finishes at the Griffith Creek parking lot.

The Revelstoke Adaptive Sports Program aims to increase accessibility and learning opportunities for those with physical and cognitive disabilities.

Accessible nature experiences

Our nearby national parks offer nature experiences for everyone during the snow-free season, which is generally May to October. During the spring and winter, the Rogers Pass Discovery Centre is the only facility in Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks that meets barrier-free standards.
