Accessible & inclusive
Our breakdown of trails surrounding Revelstoke for all ability levels and diverse experiences.
Below the dyke, you will find single-track gravel trails if you are looking for lower-impact surfaces to run or walk along. Water levels vary.

Illecillewaet Greenbelt
The trails around the Illecillewaet Greenbelt are relatively flat and mellow, which is great for a short or long walk. Pathways are a mix of compact gravel and dirt paths. Greenbelt trails lead onto hydro land where no signage is available due to water level fluctuations. Please carry a digital map if you are venturing beyond the greenbelt.

Soren Sorensen 2k
2km (Loop)
Located in Mount Revelstoke National Park, this loop is a gentle walk through the forest on a gravel path. It is a double-wide trail and has some minor ups and downs. Feeling empowered? Continue on and do the 5km loop. Begin at the Beaver Lodge kids Bike Park parking lot. Parks Canada Day Pass is required.

Riverside Forest Walk
2 km (loop)
Beginning at the BC Interior Forestry Museum and leading down to the Columbia River, this walk is accessible to all and is also educational. Look for the BC Interior Forestry Museum on the left, park in the Museum parking lot, and follow signage from there.
