Motorized riding in Revelstoke is only allowed on designated motorized trails, open forest service roads, and approved recreation sites. Managed areas like Revy Riders singletrack or Rec Sites and Trails BC zones have posted rules and seasonal restrictions riders are expected to follow.

Snowpack sets the pace in Revelstoke. Lower roads clear in the spring, but higher routes don't open until late June or July. Trails stay closed until they are dry to avoid rutting, and some zones have temporary wildlife closures.

Learn how to travel on Forest Service Roads/Backcountry Roads where industrial traffic works. EVEN ON WEEKENDS. Loaded log trucks can weigh 10 times more than a regular pick-up, have limited maneuverability and can take up to 300 feet to stop.
