you guide to what to put on your itinerary this fall
Plan your fall getaway to Revelstoke - it's a fantastic time to visit! The summer crowds have dwindled and the leaves are in hues of gold, red, and purples. There’s a variety of outdoor and indoor activities for everyone!
Huddle up in a cozy cabin, gaze out the window of a dome, or get into nature with a rustic glamping tent. These options all come equipped with comfy beds and electricity so you’ll get to experience the wilderness without the discomfort.
Revelstoke is a mecca for outdoor recreation all year. Mountain biking is still excellent in early fall until the trails get too muddy, so pack your bike if you’re here in September and early October. Fall is prime time for fishing in Revelstoke! You’ll find Kokanee salmon, Rainbow trout and Bull trout in Lake Revelstoke and on the Columbia River. Go for a hike on our lower elevation trails and see the fall colours in all their glory.
Head to Big Eddy Glassworks for a glass blowing workshop, check out the aquatic centre, do some yoga, or see a film! There’s plenty to do inside on a sleepy fall day in Revelstoke. Challenge yourself at the Revelstuck Escape Rooms! They offer a variety of escape room challenges in a range of difficulties. It’s definitely worth a stop to give your brain a workout.
