This Holiday season, support Revelstoke's small businesses.

We've got some great ideas for you and your loved ones this holiday season. This year, it's more important than ever to support our local retailers. Thankfully Revelstoke is full of great shops that offer a range of unique products.

Whether you're after handmade crafts or high end skis, we've got the answer. Tick off all the folks on your Christmas shopping list right here in town.

The holidays are also a great time to give back to those in need, so while you're ticking off your shopping list, consider making a donation to a local charitable organization. The Revelstoke Food Bank is a great organization to support and welcomes your donations.

Gifts For the Adventurer

Revelstoke is full of shops that cater to the adventurer in your life. Whether you're after a big ticket item like new skis or something more modest, check our outdoor retailers to find the right gift. Talk to the staff who will be full of wishlist ideas.

Skookum Revelstoke, Pulse Boot Lab & Ski Co, Revy Outdoors, Free Spirit Sports, Society Snow & Skate, Valhalla Pure Outfitters... the list goes on. Revelstoke is full of shops that cater to outdoorsy folks.

If you're not sure, get them ski socks. Trust us, every skier needs an extra pair of ski socks.

Gifts For the Creative Type

Revelstoke has a number of great shops featuring locally produced goods. ArtFirst!, loveMaking Designs, Big Eddy Glass Works, and Beyond Gifts, all feature unique gifts.

The Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre is also hosting a Holiday Exhibition featuring art, gifts, and designs made by the local community that are available for purchase.

Revelstoke's budding arts community produces incredible crafts. If someone on your list is creatively inclined, book them a glass blowing session at Big Eddy Glass Works so they can make their own gift!

Gifts for the Fashionista

Revelstoke fashion is generally pretty basic. We prefer gumboots to heels and goretex to fur, but that's not to say that there's nowhere to shop if you're after something special. Check out Style Trend Clothiers, Wearabouts, and Universal Footwear. Whether they are more dressed up or dressed down, you'll be able to find something.

There are also great options in town for local jewellery, with some beautiful pieces by local artisans available at the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre. For someone with funkier taste, Sick Chick makes unique laser cut wood pieces. Their designs are available online or at the Revelstoke Visitor Information Centre.

Gifts for the Kids

Holiday shopping for kids is the most fun. From Begbie Kids to Legends and Heroes Toys and Apparel, there are tons of gift options for kids.

Swing by the Visitor Information Centre where we have Revelstoke swag for kids of all ages and stuffed animals representing all our Revy locals: bears, moose, and beavers!

Our outdoor shops carry gear for the young shredder in your life, too. They're never too young to ski, right?

Another great option is to get the family a gift cetrificate to a fun summer activity, like the Enchanted Forest or a kid friendly rafting trip with Wild Blue Yonder!

Gifts For the Foodie

Le Marche is a great spot to put together a gift basket featuring unique food items. Add a bottle of wine from Cheers, which has a great selection of BC wine. Alternatively pick up some local beer or spirits from one of our great breweries and distilleries.

If someone on your list has a taste for spice, we recommend the hot sauce from our local growers at Stoke the Fire. They make a killer

Local pottery is also a great gift for someone who loves the kitchen. Check out the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre, ArtFirst!, and loveMaking Deisgns, all of which feature beautiful local pottery.
