Getting Around

Navigating Revy.

Downtown Revelstoke is small and walkable. In the summer, a bike is recommended to get you anywhere in town. Rentals are available. In winter, consider taking the shuttle.

The Revelstoke Public Transit Service provides bus service every day. Local taxi service is also available.

Parking.

Winter

It's like chess; strategic parking moves are a must. Regular snowfall means regular plowing, and cars need to move.

  • Vehicles must be moved every 24 hours to allow snow clearing.

  • Plan on hitting the town for apres? Leave the car at your accommodation and not downtown.

  • Watch for posted signs downtown. Many areas have overnight no-parking time windows that are enforced.

Spring, Summer & Fall

Ditch your car and walk or bike instead! Bike racks are spread throughout downtown, and locals ride everywhere once snow melts.

Travelling with an RV or trailer?

  • Victoria Road (track side, closest to railway) is the ONLY RV and large vehicle parking in Revelstoke's downtown.

  • If coming from the opposite direction, don't worry, there is a traffic circle that will allow you to safely turn around.

The Resort Shuttle.

BC Transit runs a daily shuttle with reliable, frequent stops throughout Revelstoke. It is an easy way to get to the mountain and move around town without a car.

Buy a bus pass in advance or pay a one-way fare on board. Cash only, exact change required. The fare is $2 per ride.

Many accommodations offer complimentary ski shuttle passes throughout the winter; ask at your hotel's front desk.
