Parking.
Spring, Summer & Fall
Ditch the car at your accommodation and opt to bike or walk. With bike racks scattered throughout downtown, you'll notice quite quickly that Revelstoke's residents choose to bike everywhere during the non-snow months.
For those with motorhomes or trailers, Victoria Ave has dedicated parking on the west-flowing side of the road (closest to the train tracks). This is the ONLY RV and large vehicle parking in Revelstoke's downtown. If coming from the opposite direction, don't worry, there is a traffic circle that will allow you to safely turn around.
Winter
It's like chess, strategic parking moves are a must. Lots of snow means lots of snow plowing. The City of Revelstoke requires vehicles to be moved every 24 hours. This gives the plows a chance to clear the area. Plan on hitting the town for apres? Leave the car at your accommodation and not downtown. There are signs throughout downtown listing overnight No Parking time zones
