Shop second-hand.
Revelstoke is home to several sustainable, second-hand shopping options full of outdoor gear, clothing, books, and home items.
Consignment Clothing.
Outdoor Clothing
In an outdoor town, there's a big chance you'll score second-hand Gore-Tex, bib snowpants, hiking pants, and the occasional merino wool shirt.
While Facebook Marketplace is the spot to find second-hand hard goods like skis, boards, and bikes, Mountain Archives & Forage & Fill have sections dedicated to outdoor soft goods.
Trendy Clothing & Accessories
Forage & Fill is a well-curated consignment store that rotates clothing items seasonally. You will find amazing sweaters in the winter, garden party dresses for the summer, and there is a whole wall just for men!
Mountain Archives is a second-hand curated spot full of old school outdoor brands, including North Face, Patagonia, and more. It's a great place to find a good flannel, a vintage rain jacket, or a good toque.

Reading Material
Revelstoke is home to the (self-proclaimed) world's cutest indie bookstore. Fable Book Parlour is a new & used store located on Mackenzie Ave with new books, used books, music accessories, and trinkets.
The interior is a book-lover's dream, a mix of second-hand furniture, cozy, deep red walls filled with books, floor to ceiling.

Charity Shops.
Thrift stores that donate to non-profit organizations are the O.G. spots to shop. Find everything from kitchen supplies, toys, books, art, bedding, clothing, jewelry, and shoes.
The Thrift Shop, located on 2nd Street near Flourish Cafe, usually opens at 1 pm. All donation proceeds go towards community projects like the Women's Centre and equipment for our local hospital.
The Bargain Basement is located next to La Baguette Bakery & Cafe, in the basement of the Royal Canadian Legion (go figure!). All proceeds support the branch of the legion.
