Not a Skier? No problem!
Revelstoke is all about adventure, but there are lots of options available for the non-skier as well. If you’re more about the apres than the activity, more indoorsy than outdoorsy, or just not after an adrenaline rush, this long weekend itinerary will give you some great ideas.
Book into one of our hotels right downtown as a base for your visit. We recommend the classic Regent Hotel, or the budget-friendly Grizz Hotel as jumping off points for your Revelstoke vacation. If you are travelling with skiers, the downtown hotels offer access to the Resort Shuttle. You can enjoy charming downtown Revelstoke while your travelling companions hit the slopes.

Non-ski Outdoor Adventure
If you still want to get out and about and take in Revelstoke’s gorgeous scenery, here are our recommendations:
Snowshoeing - Head our for a guided snowshoe tour or rent a set of snowshoes and explore on your own - just make sure you are equipped and stay out of avalanche terrain!.
Dog sledding - Experience the landscape rushing by while you’re wrapped up and being pulled along by a team of dogs. Dog sledding feels like a truly Canadian winter adventure.
Snowmobiling - A snowmobile tour is a great way to get out and get views of Revelstoke. Tours often go up Frisby Ridge, which offers expansive views of the valley below. There are a number of tour options, as well as the option to double.
