Revelstoke Railway Museum.

The Revelstoke Railway Museum is far from a typical museum. This interactive museum aims to entertain and educate and the train simulator is particularly a hit with the younger kids, as is the children’s caboose play area. Overall, it’s a very kid-friendly experience.

Touring the museum will take a short hour to two to take in the local history of the Canadian Pacific Railway. It showcases a variety of visual and interactive displays, including photographs and films, while the proud staff are more than happy to divulge their special secrets and knowledge.

Sky Trek Adventure Park.

A 20-minute drive west on the Trans-Canada Highway outside of Revelstoke will get you to a full treetop adventure experience that challenges everyone’s abilities. There’s the Aerial Trekking Course, Adventure Tower, and for the younger ones, the Kids Tree Adventure and Kids Jungle Gym.

The SkyTrek Adventure Park will challenge your fears, and your mental control in difficult situations and it’ll make the family work as a team to support each other and overcome the obstacle course high in the trees.

Enchanted Forest.

Revelstoke Interior Forestry Museum.

The BC Interior Forestry Museum offers engaging experiences for kids, showcasing the history of forestry with indoor exhibits and a large outdoor display of logging equipment. It's an educational destination with interactive elements that can help children learn about forestry in a fun way.

Check out the Interactive Riverside Forest Walk for a peaceful activity in the forest by the river.

Revelstoke Aquatic Centre.

Now this is one activity that the whole family will enjoy and get a little time to themselves within sight of each other.

The Revelstoke Aquatic Centre has a 25-metre pool with lanes set aside for swimming laps. For the kids (and big kids at heart) there’s a twisty lazy river to float down and a waterslide that will thrill even the surliest of people. For a bit of unwinding after a long day, try the steam room, sauna, and hot tub.

(Children <7 must be accompanied by a person 16 years or older. Sauna and steam room users must be 13 unless accompanied by an adult.)
