TWO WHEELED TOURS.
Revelstoke is incredibly bike-friendly. You will find most residents choose to bike rather than drive around town and you should too!
Here are some self-guided tours around Revelstoke that we recommend.
Central Revelstoke
Downtown tour.
Total Distance: 7.3 km | Check out the Revelstoke Museum and Archives, the Revelstoke Railway Museum, and Revelstoke’s Art Alleries (located in the back alleys of downtown).
When you’ve had your fill of culture, cruise the Illecillewaet Greenbelt, a pleasant paved loop that offers great views of the Columbia River and surrounding mountains. From the Greenbelt, look for wildlife, especially the many local nesting birds.
Around town
Arts & culture tour.
Distance: 15.9 km | Head to the Big Eddy and check out Big Eddy Glass Works. Refuel at Holm Coffee with a delicious brew. Ride down the Big Eddy Greenbelt and take in stunning views of Mount Begbie.
Head towards town and swing by the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre, where you can check out both the gallery, gift shop, and the local gardens. Head up Tournament of Champions Parkway, past the Revelstoke Railway Museum towards the Meadows in the Sky Parkway. A short distance up the Meadows in the Sky Parkway will lead you to the Nels Nelsen Historic Ski Jump, offering an expansive view across the valley.
Finish up downtown with a tour of our Art Alleries and a cold beverage at one of our many local watering holes.

Valley viewpoints tour.
Distance: 41.5 km | For those who are willing to pedal (or those who have access to an e-bike), check out Revelstoke’s most iconic viewpoints.
Head to the BC Interior Forestry Museum and see the views of the Revelstoke Dam and the Columbia River below. If your bike is equipped for dirt, access Mount Revelstoke National Park via the Highway 23 North connector. If not, go through town to access the Meadows in the Sky Parkway up 8 km to the Monashee Viewpoint. Take in the views and then turn around and coast down the parkway.
Ride down Airport Way, one of Revelstoke’s popular road biking routes. You’ll follow along the wetlands of the Columbia River. If it’s a warm day, pack your swimsuit and stop in at Williamson Lake, one of Revelstoke’s most popular (and warmest!) swimming holes.
Take a right turn on Westerburg Road and follow alongside Revelstoke Mountain Resort on Camozzi Road. Carry on Camozzi to Nichol Road, and then coast back towards town on Airport Way. After the bridge over the Illecillewaet River, link up to the Greenbelt to cruise back to town via the scenic route.
