winner of canada's best ski resort in 2020.
There’s a reason why people from all over the world come skiing and snowboarding at Revelstoke Mountain Resort - it proudly holds the most vertical elevation in North America at 1,713 metres (5,620 feet). Revelstoke Mountain Resort boasts 3,121 acres of skiing terrain, including wide-open alpine bowls, glades for days, long and flowy groomers (try out Snow Rodeo, consistently ranked one of the world’s best!), a terrain park and the Turtle Creek area for kids of all ages. All of that is blanketed under a legendary snowfall each winter. Check out a Revelstoke Mountain Resort trail map to plan your day and keep an eye on the Revelstoke Mountain Resort snow report. Watch Gnorm the Powder Gnome on their webcam and keep the snow dances going to that he disappears and a blanket of fresh powder! Revelstoke Mountain Resort is part of the Mountain Collective and Ikon Pass, making it even better value for those passholders.
There are several learning zones on the mountain - the magic carpet at the mountain base, the magic carpet at the Revelation Gondola Midstation, and the new Stellar Chair. If you want to experience all 5,620 feet of vertical, try skiing The Last Spike from the top of the Stoke to the village.
Start out on the groomers off the Stoke Chair - Snow Rodeo is a Revelstoke must-ski. Check out the groomers on the Ripper, and if you're feeling confident, venture off into the Ripper's low angle glades. If you're craving more challenge, try out Separate Reality or Tally Ho.
If you're an advanced skier, welcome to paradise. Head for the steeps of South Bowl or the deep powder in North Bowl, drop in off Vertigo Ridge, try out the trees on Clyde's Secret. Unstrap and take a hike to the sub peak or up the Lemming Line for maximum vertical.
