We asked our Instagram audience to vote for the best poutine in Revy! During this process, we realized that we had accidentally managed to compile a list of all the places in town to get a great poutine. Here it is!
1. nico's pizzeria
Nico’s poutine is made with homemade gravy, house cut and seasoned potatoes, and fresh cheese curds from Village Cheese in Armstrong, BC. Grab a classic poutine or choose from several options such as pulled pork or the spicy ‘La Picante’. You can get vegan and gluten free poutine at Nico’s too, so there’s truly something delicious for everyone.
2. the forum
This one is more of a local secret, but we’re happy to share! Not only do you get to watch the Revelstoke Grizzlies throw down on the ice, but you’ll get to taste one of the best poutines in town. Getting poutine at a hockey game is a classic Revy experience - pair it with a beer and get ready to cheer on the boys!
3. The village idiot
There’s nothing idiotic about this poutine! Upgrade yours to the ‘giant’ version and add some extra toppings to your freshly cut fries. Voted one of the best apres bars in North America, it makes sense that The Village Idiot has an epic poutine.
4. Killa B's Grilla Cheese
The food truck known for slingin’ grilled cheese now has a firm seat at the poutine table. Weighing each portion of cheese curds, Killa B’s ensures every small poutine has 60gms of squeaky goodness. The gravy is peppery and delicious!
