Love them (or not) but toads & turtles are listed as ‘Species at Risk’ and need help to survive & thrive in Revelstoke.
Hop (or stroll) on over to learn from Marcy Mahr, Senior Biologist with the Valhalla Wilderness Society and Jenna Schulhof, Wildsight’s Columbia Valley Conservation Coordinator with significant knowledge & firsthand (or ‘two hand’) experience. They will share the importance of toads and turtles to Revelstoke’s ecosystem health and what each of us can do individually and as a community to promote survival.

Valhalla Wilderness Society Biologist and Campaigner Amber Peters will share the biodiversity findings in what is now known to science as the fourth biodiversity hotspot of the Inland Temperate Rainforest. A screening of the short film Primeval: Enter the Incomappleux will take us into the heart of some of the world’s richest Inland Rainforest. The film will be followed by a presentation on the Rainbow-Jordan Wilderness Proposal. With incredible photography from 6 years of exploratory research, see why this wilderness gem must be protected!
