New Year, New Brand Identity!

There is nowhere on earth quite like Revelstoke, with its unique blend of stunning natural beauty, rich history, strong community values, and the potential for endless adventure. We’re reinvigorating our brand identity to reflect the core and character of the place we call home. Revelstoke is more than a stop on the highway – we are the place to be.

Our current logo is based on a highway sign, showing Revelstoke is a good place to take a break. Our new look encapsulates so much more of the real feel of our community and confidently reaffirms Revelstoke’s position in the outdoor adventure landscape, while paying homage to our past.

Guided by the Revelstoke Tourism Advisory Committee (which includes representatives from tourism businesses, Parks Canada, the arts community, Revelstoke Mountain Resort, accommodation providers, and the City of Revelstoke), we launched a rigorous RFP process to find a company to create a new brand that would exemplify the true Revelstoke.

It was imperative to us the company understood the essence of our town. C&B Advertising of Calgary was selected due to their appreciation of our unique area, combined with their branding experience (notably for Jasper and Banff / Lake Louise). Their perception of our town mirrored what so many people feel Revelstoke stands for. We’re remote, but not too remote. We’re an adventure capital, but also a tight knit community. We’re a working town and a dream vacation.

One of the most captivating elements of Revelstoke is the enduring quality of the destination. We’re a community that honors the history, people, and industries that built it, while evolving and building on the energy of a new generation. We wanted our new look to be a nod to our rich and storied past as well as a reflection of our vibrant mountain community. It was important to us that it embraced the industries Revelstoke was built on but also looked forward to the town’s future as the adventure destination of choice for travelers from across the globe. Not many places can boast a world class resort experience while maintaining the true community vibe of an evolved mountain town- but we do.
