If you’re traveling with an RV or trailer and want to be fully hooked up, there are several great campgrounds for you, most with pull-through sites available.
Revelstoke’s Sanidump is located at 1625 Powerhouse Rd and is open 24 hours.

The Lamplighter Campground offers both full-service and unserviced sites. Quiet and family-friendly, with just over 50 sites for tents and RVs, we offer clean and well-maintained facilities in a pretty, park-like setting.

Williamson's Lake Campground is a full-service, family-oriented campground with 44 spacious campsites located beside a safe, sandy lake suitable for swimming. Located just 5 km from downtown Revelstoke.

National Parks (frontcountry).
The nearest to town is the Snowforest Campground in Mount Revelstoke National Park. It is brand new and the facilities are fantastic. A quiet, wooded setting makes it a great natural escape, and it’s only a 2 km walk from downtown Revelstoke!
In Glacier National Park, the Loop Brook and Illecillewaet campgrounds offer wooded sites surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. Both sites are approximately a 45-minute drive from Revelstoke, but there are incredible hiking opportunities right at your doorstep.

Snowforest Campground
Located near the start of the Meadows in the Sky Parkway in Mount Revelstoke National Park, Snowforest is a short 5 km drive from downtown Revelstoke. The campground offers a variety of options including large pull-through RV campsites with electricity. Open May - October.

Illecillewaet Campground
A great basecamp for exploring Glacier National Park at the starting point for several popular trails. Campsites are unserviced, accommodating tents and RVs. Sites for large RVs are very limited and all sites are first come, first served. The name Illecillewaet comes from a Sinixt word meaning "big water".
Provincial Parks.
Martha Creek Provincial Park is located north of town on tranquil Lake Revelstoke. Enjoy the lake and check out the creeks and waterfalls in the area.
Blanket Creek Provincial Park is located where the Columbia River slows and turns into Upper Arrow Lake. This campground is the largest and has the most amenities of the nearby provincial park campgrounds. There is a lovely freshwater swimming lagoon and a short trail to spectacular Sutherland Falls.
Arrow Lakes Provincial Park - Shelter Bay offers spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding towering mountains. The park has a cement boat launch and a swimming beach.

Blanket Creek Provincial Park
This park was originally a farm now developed to provide recreational opportunities. Campsite reservations are accepted and first-come, first-served sites are also available. The campground is connected to a day-use picnic area, swimming lagoon, and Sutherland Falls.

Martha Creek Provincial Park
The park is located 18 minutes from downtown Revelstoke and is out of cell service range. Campsite reservations are accepted at this park and first-come, first-served sites are also available. The day-use area features one of Revelstoke's few beaches, picnic tables, pit toilets, and a field that is perfect for lawn games. The beach is coarse sand and pebbles, about 300 m long and flat.

Arrow Lakes Provincial Park (Shelter Bay)
Located along the shores of Upper Arrow Lake Reservoir adjacent to the Shelter Bay ferry terminal on Highway # 23, 50 km south of Revelstoke. The park is a popular destination for fishers and boaters. No reservations, only assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Recreation Sites.
There are a number of recreation sites located nearby. Begbie Falls Recreation Site is located 15 minutes from town, situated within our Mount Macpherson trail network. North of town and along the shores of Lake Revelstoke are Carnes Creek, Wadey Creek, and Downie Creek. These sites are quite rustic and are not reservable.

Carnes Creek Recreation Site
The Carnes Creek campground sits on the shores of Lake Revelstoke. The Recreation site is made up of two sites. The southern site contains 26 sites, a small day-use area, and a boat launch and the northern site contains 18 sites and has a small boat launch. A $15 camping fee per day ($7.50 for disabled and seniors) will apply from May 1 to October 15.

Wadey Recreation Site
Beautiful 30-site campground 25km north of the Trans-Canada Highway, nestled along the shores of Lake Revelstoke. Please note, there is no cell reception or gas station past the Revelstoke Dam. Camping frees are $15/night, cash only.

Begbie Falls Recreation Site
A first-come first-serve campground located 2km down Begbie Falls FSR, just before the waterfalls. There are 26 sites and there is a $15.00 fee. Debit and Credit card payment options are available.
Glamping.
If you want to experience the great outdoors in Revelstoke but don’t have your camping gear, Revelstoke has great glamping options for you.
Boulder Mountain Resort has gorgeous canvas tents that are well-covered so you are protected from weather. The Canadiana decor in the cabins is sure to make you feel cozy and at home while you’re here. Enjoy your coffee on a private front porch in front of your tent.
Mount Revelstoke National Park’s Snowforest Campground has cute MicrOcube cabins that serve as a great base for adventure in Revelstoke and its national parks. Bedding is not included in your stay.

Backcountry Camping.
If you are an experienced hiker and you want to get a true backcountry camping experience, there are several great options in our neighbouring national parks or recreation sites.
Mount Revelstoke National Park has two great options by the stunning Jade Lakes or Eva Lake. These are both bookable online in advance and are equipped with tent pads, outhouses, and bear lockers.
Glacier National Park has two backcountry camping options: Sir Donald and Hermit Meadows. Hermit Meadows is reserved in advance.
One of the most popular backcountry campsites near Revelstoke is in the meadows below the summit of Mount Begbie. It's a three-pad site that requires a grueling ascent!
