Family-friendly food spots.
Ready for an enjoyable, easygoing restaurant for both you and the kids? Here are our fave Revelstoke restaurants with fun menu items, simple classics, and places with built-in entertainment.
Old School Eatery.
Serving old-school food with a new-food vibe, ‘Old School Eatery’ achieves this in a classroom at Revelstoke’s former and historic Mountain View School.
Their menu includes cleverly named dishes like 'I’m not hungry', a simple pasta with butter, 'I don’t know?' including chicken fingers and fries, 'I don't want this', a grilled cheese sandwich, and 'I want to go to MacDonalds', a plain burger. The best part of the kids menu... you can get drink and ice cream added onto the kids meal.
For the adults, they do "sophisticated comfort food" and great drinks and cocktails.

The Taco Club.
If your little ones love tacos (or if you need a margarita), The Taco Club is a great choice with a dedicated kids menu.
With plenty of options to mix and match, kids can build their own meal with soft tacos, burritos, or a classic quesadilla. The menu even includes vegetarian options and churros for dessert. The vibrant atmosphere and friendly service make it a hit for families.

The Big Eddy Pub.
A casual and laid-back option, The Big Eddy Pub is great for families looking for familiar, kid-approved classics. With a menu featuring simple options like chicken fingers and buttered pasta with cheese, even picky eaters will find something to enjoy.
The Big Eddy Pub is a great place if the rest of the family is craving wings or a burger and fries.

Cantina Del Centro.
Cantina is the newest spot in town, offering Latin American food, including street tacos, burritos, and awesome margaritas.
For the kdis, they offer "Los Niños" including nachos, quesadillas, and chicken fingers. If you're looking for indoor entertainment, Cantina is home to eight bowling lanes where you can bowl a few frames before or after your meal. Make sure to reserve bowling ahead of time, it’s the perfect spot for an evening of family fun!

Rockford Bar | Grill.
If you're at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, the Rockford Grill is located at the base of the mountain, next to Paul Mair Plaza. The Rockford is known for their glocal comfort food; it's a great place for appies after a day on the mountain.
They have a dedicated kids menu for those 10 and under. Their meals come with a choice of juice or pop, and every meal is served with a side of fries, carrot sticks, or greens. Plus, the meal finishes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!

The Village Idiot.
The character of this laid-back, casual food spot is sure to entertain the kids throughout a meal. The walls are doned with old-school ski gear, and the loud atmosphere will mask any noise levels.
While they do not have a dedicated kids menu, there are plenty of options that would appeal including twisted cheese bread, build your own pizza, and mac & cheese.
