A THRIVING ART SCENE.
Revelstoke is known globally as an outdoor recreation destination, but our thriving arts scene is making its mark on our reputation. Revelstoke is brimming with outdoor art, multiple galleries, and many talented artists working in a range of mediums. The jewel in the crown of the Revelstoke art scene is our largest event of the year - Luna Arts Festival.
Here is Tourism Revelstoke's curated guide on where to find local art in Revelstoke, British Columbia.
Galleries.
The Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre proudly displays art from Revelstoke and artists from neighbouring communities. Their exhibits vary and generally feature a variety of media changing monthly with fabulous opening events for each new show. Their gift shop is a great place to find locally created souvenirs, gifts, and art for your home.
Wander downtown and visit Revelstoke Local Art Coop, a locally owned and operated gallery showcasing local art. Find even more local art nearby at Mountain Made Studio showcasing stained glass.
New in 2024, Alpine Echo Gallery opened its doors in Mackenzie Village. The locally owned gallery specialize in fine art, focusing on high-skill pieces.

Art Alleries.
Revelstoke’s public art initiative, launched in 2019, aims to transform our downtown alleyways into outdoor art galleries.
Alleyways are frequently overlooked, avoided, and not often associated with art or tourism. As a legacy project by the organizers of LUNA Festival, Art Alleries revitalizes dark and disused places into thriving public spaces for locals and visitors to walk through and enjoy.

Revelstoke Outdoor Art Movement (ROAM)
A group of local artists started an outdoor art movement on the mountains of Revelstoke Mountain Resort. There is no map, only a surprise and delight found in amongst the trees, hidden from most, found by those who seek it.
Skiers, snowboarders, hikers, mountain bikers, and sightseers can find art scattered across the mountain!
ROAM isn’t just about art; it’s about community. The collective represents the work of many local artists, who together have placed nearly 60 incredible pieces throughout 15 locations on the mountain.
One of ROAM’s standout exhibits is The Masterpiste Gallery—a collection of 22 pieces crafted from recycled skis and snowboards. Each piece pays homage to some of the world’s most famous paintings, offering a unique blend of creativity and sustainability.
