There are few acts on the west coast combining live instrumentation, high energy and gritty bass with the ferocity and craft than violinist Kytami and DJ/Producer Phonik Ops. They have made it their mission to create a truly unique sound that would be instantly recognizable as their own all the while drawing on their shared love of Drum n Bass, Hip Hop, Punk and bass heavy dance music.
Since connecting at a festival in British Columbia, they have become one of the most intriguing acts, standing out in an already saturated musical landscape. This power duo has produced exclusive guest mixes for the DnB Show on BBC Radio1 and BeatLab Radio and continuously build up their fan base with spectacular live shows and an ever-increasing catalogue of impactful music.

Chimp It's signature move is to keep their fans guessing, as they weave their original material into edits and remixes from their favourite artists and peers, moving through Garage, Dubstep, House, DnB or whatever fresh gems they've uncovered in the far reaches of the music-verse.
They have been selected for prime time slots at events such as Shambhala, Wicked Woods, Friendzy Fest, Tiny Lights and Arc'tery Academy. Chimp It's original music and high energy shows have caught the attention of established artists and promoters which landed them opening slots with Moontricks, Lazy Syrup Orchestra and Kytami & Phonik Ops. These shows all resulted in epic onstage impromptu jams.
They have had the great fortune of working with top tier industry professionals Nick Middleton, Adham Shaikh and 2x Grammy Award winning mix engineer Alex Jarvis.
