The Jumping Rodents are a fresh, original, high-energy funk band, born in a shop in the woods in Parson B.C.
It features multi generational musicians: John Jenkins on guitar, Jackson Baker on bass, Joan Dolinsky on trumpet, Jeff Dolinsky on saxophone, Matt Fellows on keyboards and 13 year old powerhouse drummer Elliot Darvill-Jenkins driving the bus.
The Jumping Rodents sound has evolved creatively over the past 3 years. With the foundations of funk rhythm created by John, Elliot and Jackson, horn lines hand crafted by Joan and Jeff Dolinsky, and Matt filling in more funk with tasty keys.
