The annual Bank Heist Time Trial is back! Join us on Saturday, September 12th, for our 8th annual time trial run up one of North America's most legendary ski runs, Kill the Banker.
The route takes runners on the Kill the Banker trail from mid-station to the top of Revelation Gondola. Click here to view the course map on Strava. Route stats: Distance: 3.7km, Elevation Gain: 879m, Average Grade: 23.0%
Expect steep, rocky terrain, weaving in and out of boulder fields and the sub-alpine forest. Your quads will be burning, your heart will be pumping, and you'll be facing more vertical than most can handle. It's Type 2 fun!
Dress up and conquer the mountain with friends and enjoy a cold one at the top!

Online registration closes on Sept 1st. We strongly encourage everyone to register in advance to avoid disappointment. Revelstoke Mountain Resort cannot guarantee any spots will be available on the morning of the race.
If you miss the Sep 1st registration deadline, please reach out to [email protected], and they will see if they can accommodate you.
For everyone’s safety, the course time limit is 2 hours. Anyone who does not complete the course within the 2-hour limit will receive a DNF score. We will have course marshals doing a sweep. If it is anticipated that you will not cross the finish line in time, you will be asked to stop where you are by one of our marshals for your own safety. They will escort you off the course at the nearest exit point and bring you to the finish line so you can still participate in the celebrations.
You can do the race at your own pace but please note we have a course time limit of 2 hours.
Any participant who exceeds this time cut off will receive a DNF. But don’t worry, your drink ticket is still valid, so you can still join in on the fun!
Spectator viewing areas are at the start zone and at the finish line at the Outpost.
Please note that spectators will need to have a valid sightseeing ticket for gondola access.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Mackenzie Outpost at 2pm or when the last person is off the course, whichever comes sooner. We will be giving prizes to the top times in each category.
