Revelstoke Museum and Archives is proud to present Stories Beneath the Surface, a beautiful photo essay book featuring photos of the valley south of Revelstoke before it was flooded by the Hugh Keenleyside Dam at Castlegar in 1969.
The book shows a way of life that is gone forever and pays tribute to the former settlers of the valley.
We will have a drop-in launch party at the museum this Friday, December 6th, from 1 to 5 p.m. Join us for coffee and tea, pick up your copy, and get it signed by the author, Cathy English. We will feature a running slide presentation with photos from the book.
