This year, we’re turning Railway Days into a birthday celebration for one of the Revelstoke Railway Museum’s biggest residents — SD40 No. 5500!
Built in 1966, 5500 turns 60 years old in 2026, and we think that deserves a proper party.

Donate $5 or more toward 5500’s restoration during Railway Days and nominate a name. After the event, selected nominations will go to a community vote.
After all, 5500 is part of our community — we think Revelstoke should help name it.
