Event Content
Festivities will run 11 am – 5 pm at Queen Elizabeth Park. $5 admission at the gate, kids and seniors free!
Live music will float through the park as Revelstokians and visitors browse the vendors and local artisans. Activities such as a scavenger hunt and the painting of the annual ‘peek-through’, an interactive art piece at the festival will be hosted.
Due to limited parking, the LFI recommends riding bicycles to the event and politely requests that your furry friends be left at home.
History of Garlic Fest
After years of the Track Street Growers stewarding this community event, Sarah and Stu knew that they wanted to find a community organization that could continue to grow Garlic Fest into the festival they envisioned. In 2023 the Revelstoke Local Food Initiative (LFI) was pleased to take over the reins to create a fundraising event that would showcase our thriving local food system.
They continue to bring all the ingredients that have always made the Garlic Festival so special: an impressive local garlic harvest, live music, local craft sale, kid activities, food, and even a few wild games. The LFI works towards more vendors, offering more activities and bringing Revy the largest selection of Garlic yet, making it an event you really can’t miss!
