Overview

It’s time to eat like a bear! Every fall, bears enter a stage called hyperphagia, when they need to eat upwards of 25,000 calories a day to prepare for hibernation. Now it’s your turn to join the feast!

How it works

Local restaurants are serving up delicious signature burgers, and for every one sold, $1 goes directly to Revelstoke Bear Aware. Taste your way around town, then vote for your favourite to help crown the winner of this year’s Best Burger in Revelstoke.

Enjoy great food, support local businesses, and help keep bears wild and people safe — one burger at a time.

Burger List:

Taco Club
A juicy 150 g beef patty with bacon bits mixed right in, topped with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and a creamy house sauce. Finished with sweet pineapple and spicy jalapeño jam, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.

Cantina Del Centro
Smashed ground wild boar, smoked cheddar sauce, crunchy cabbage, carrot, apple, jicama slaw, jalapeno jam, baby arugula, dijon mustard, house-made avo-mayo, brioche bun

Kawakubo
Crispy panko- crusted chicken katsu stacked with crunchy shredded cabbage, freshly sliced, creamy avocado, all drizzled with savory, house made Japanese bbq sauce and zesty tartar. Served on a soft bun with golden fries and a spicy mayo for dipping.

Big Eddy Pub
Big Eddy’s famous burger topped with deep-fried Monterey Jack cheese, jalapeño chimichuri, and our special sweet & tangy Eddy sauce on a brioche bun. Top that off with greens that are grown right here in the Big Eddy, the Chimi Jack is sure to hit the spot!

A 6oz beef patty stacked with maple jalapeño jam, candied bacon, crispy onions, honey mustard aioli, and creamy havarti – all hugged by a toasted brioche bun. Sweet, smoky, and just wild enough to bite back.

Hillcrest
A double-stack legend! Two sizzling 4oz house-made beef patties, cheddar slices, shredded lettuce, crunchy pickles, and fresh-cut onions, all layered on a toasted brioche bun and dripping with our secret house burger sauce. Big, bold, and unapologetically messy—in the best way. – Comes with your choice of sidekick.

The Den Revelstoke
A breakfast-style play on our usual smash burger. Beef patty and a port sausage patty with bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash brown, all on a toasted sesame bun for $25 with fries.

Dose Coffee
Parmy/Parmi (the age old debate, which one is right) style fried chicken thigh with pineapple & bacon relish, dill pickle slaw, beetroot aioli and a fried egg served on a brioche bun.

Paramjit's Kitchen
Pulled Beef Masala Burger with a spiced whiskey bbq sauce, red cabbage slaw and a German bun. Served with saffron croquettes and a garlic aioli and a homemade pickle, Vegan option same but with pulled jackfruit

River City Pub
Secret Middle eastern spice twist chicken, garlic and tahini blend, pickled cabbage, monterey jack cheese on Our classic favourite Brioche., For those who prefer vegetarianism we can substitute plant based chicken alternatives too.

The Chesterfield
6oz beef patty topped with pan fried pork belly in a maple whisky glaze and pickled jalapeños, finished with Arugula, Cheddar cheese, caramelized onion and maple Aioli! Served with waffle fries with a maple caramelized onion aioli.
