David S. Walker - Land, Light and Cultural Identity

David S. Walker is a contemporary Canadian artist based in Revelstoke and known for his evocative oil paintings and sculptural Raku pottery. Walker has exhibited extensively across BC, and his work is held in private collections across Canada and the USA. The current exhibition represents years in the making. Walker's work represents deeply layered compositions that reflect both physical beauty and spiritual resonance of the natural world. A recurring theme throughout Walker’s work is the exploration of his Indigenous heritage, exploring the intimate relationships between land, light, and cultural identity.
