About the artists.
BUDDY AND THE BUFFALO A cowboy and a trucker walk into a bar—and Buddy and the Buffalo was born. What started as a one-time performance at The Village during Shambhala Music Festival has become a collaboration fueled by friendship and a shared love of music. Wakcutt is a key player in Western Canada’s music scene. A talented turntablist, he naturally engages with audiences, delivering performances that combine technical skills with an authentic love for music.
The Buffalo is a beloved boss man at PK and the Village Stage and brings years of experience as a touring audio engineer. Known for setting up big rigs and working behind the scenes at some of the industry’s biggest shows. His dedication to sound and his no-nonsense approach make him a powerful presence both on and off stage.
Together, Buddy and the Buffalo craft a sound that’s authentic, loud and deeply rooted in their experiences on the road and in the studio. Come for the music, stay for the ride. This is Big Rig Music.
