Mamma Mia!

Mamma Mia! A Broadway Musical coming to Revelstoke, from the Company that brought Shrek in 2020!

Flying Arrow Productions is performing Mamma Mia! at Queen Elizabeth Park from June 22nd through June 28th. Like Shrek in 2020, this production showcases much local talent and is put on by many volunteers. And of course, there will be plenty of ABBA songs to enjoy.

Mamma Mia! was written by playwright Catherine Johnson and the music and lyrics written by ABBA members Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. It is the story of a young girl getting married and inviting 3 men who could possibly be her dad.

Shrek received great reviews and was enjoyed by many. You don’t want to miss this year’s show! It will be the first community musical performed outside, at Queen Elizabeth Park. Davide Pendergast and Kelly Zurba will join Anita Hallewas in directing, with musical direction by Abbey Woodhouse and choreography by Bex Reid-Parkin.

Shows will be Wednesday June 22nd through Saturday 25th as well as Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th at 7:30pm. There will be two matinee shows, Saturday June 25th and Sunday 26th at 2:00pm. Tickets are $30, and $15 for children 15 and under. All matinee shows are $15. There will be bring-your-own blanket seating up front and supplied chair seating behind.
