Summer in Revelstoke does not disappoint...

Revelstoke might be best known for its winter but ask any local and they'll tell you that the summers here are every bit as amazing...if not better! Summer in British Columbia's rocky mountains is perfect for people who like the big open spaces, small town vibes, and stunning mountain vistas.

Grab your bike and enjoy the miles of flowy singletrack through the inland temperate rainforest.

The alpine hikes are to die for. No matter how long the hike, the views are more than enough to ease tired legs and sore feet.

Just a short drive off the highway onto forest roads yields views like this. Aim for sunset or sunrise for extra stunning views.

Remember, Revelstoke has an active logging industry. Make sure you have radio equipment and know how to use it where necessary.

North of Revelstoke, you'll find a gorgeous stretch of highway leading all the way up to the Mica Dam. Check out the many recreation sites, beaches, and trails along the way.

BC requires proof of vaccination for people 12 and older to access some events, services, and businesses. There are currently additional Provincial Health Orders in place in the Interior Health Region:

  • Everyone 12 years of age and older must wear a mask in all public indoor spaces
  • Personal Gatherings: Outdoor personal gatherings are limited to no more than 50 people. Indoor personal gatherings are limited to five guests or one other household
  • Organized Events With Proof of Full Vaccination (two doses): indoor organized events can have a capacity of 50 people or 50% of a venue’s capacity (whichever is greater). Outdoor-organized events can have a capacity of 5,000 people or 50% of a venue’s capacity (whichever is greater).
  • High-intensity group exercise is now permitted, provided all participants and instructors are fully vaccinated with two doses.
