What a year 2018 was! Here’s a look back in a few of our favourite photos ( choosing was a difficult task, there were so many fantastic shots).
We started off the year well, with our winter season in full swing. We love this image of touring in the Revelstoke backcountry under a dramatic sky.
February brought the powder in 2018 and this image captures the mood perfectly.
March is a great time for exploring winter waterfalls. We love this picture of Moses Creek Falls from the spring time.
April brought the start of spring (although not without a few snowstorms first!) and the chance to get out and explore. We like the glassy calmness of the water in this image of the flats.
Warmer nights and longer days meant May was prime camping season. We love that this photo captured all the fun of a night under the stars in Revelstoke.
We chose a beautiful shot of the valley for June taken from a paraglider. The lush greens make us almost wish it was summer already!
One of our favourite shots from July is this great capture of our locals- a mama bear and cub!
It’s hard to beat an alpine sunset and this one at Eva Lake, in Mt Revelstoke National Park, was especially beautiful.
We don’t think we need to explain why this birdseye shot of our little town is one of our favourites from the end of summer.
Nothing says fall like misty mornings and bright leafs. This picture catches the changing of the seasons perfectly.
November brought the snow back to the alpine, sending the powder hounds into the hills for the first turns of the season. The golden light and fresh snow made this shot our pick for November.

To round off the year, we chose another shot of the alpine with beautiful light. 2018 might have been drawing to a close but our winter season is still going strong!
