Nordic Skiing

Come experience some of the best nordic trails in BC.

The Revelstoke Nordic Skiing Club can trace its roots back to 1891. Today, the club is a registered non-profit organization. Almost all of the services provided by the club are accomplished by the hundreds of volunteer hours of its members.

Show up after dark and ski our six kilometers of newly lit trails. If that’s not enough action, put a headlamp and picnic dinner in your backpack and head up to the Old Sandberg cabin, via the main loop. If a serious workout is what you’re craving, we recommend adding “Hydro Hill” into the mix. For the full gambit of trails, download the Revelstoke Nordic Skiing Map.

Check the grooming report for up to date information on the best trails to tackle!

Children 5 and under: FREE / Youth 6-16: $5.25 / Adult 17+: $10.50 / Family (Two parents + Two children under 17): $26.25 / Ski Touring or Snowshoeing: $5.25 (parking fee)

Where can I rent gear for Revelstoke Nordic Skiing?

Ski rentals, both Skate and Classic are available at the Nordic Day Lodge daily.  Rentals can be acquired from 9:00 am until 3:30 pm, and must be returned by 9:00pm.

There are a lot of skis and boots to choose from, but they do share equipment with the school programs, so we recommend calling ahead to make sure we have what you need, especially if you’re coming with a big group (250-814-4264).

There are boots from kids size 12 (30.5 European) to men’s size 13 (48.6 European). Classic skis range in size from 110cm to 208cm, and skate skis from 147cm to 192cm.

Rentals are also available at various local Nordic retailers downtown, including Flowt Bikes and SkisSkookum Cycle and Ski, and Free Spirit Sports.

Are dogs allowed on the Revelstoke Nordic Ski Trails?

There is a popular dog loop along BCIT and Roadway Ramble. This is an off-leash area, but we ask that dogs be under control at all times and that owners pick up after their pet!
