For The Artist In Us All
Pick up a Public Art Walking tour or Annual Summer Art Walk brochure at the Visitor Information Centre and start your stroll. Take the route that ends at The Nomad for lunch then head over to the Art Gallery to see the latest exhibitions. On the first Friday of every month (March – December) there are Opening Receptions where you can meet and talk with the artists. The Art Gallery also offers a schedule of exhibitions and available art classes.
For an evening on the town, check out a flick at the historical Roxy Theatre, or perhaps take in a performance at the Revelstoke Performing Arts Centre. Visit The Arts Council for a schedule of performances in the purpose built theatre. Tickets for all performances are available at the Revelstoke Visitor Centre, the Art First Gallery, or online.
Start at the City Museum and Archives to find out more about how our city has developed over the past century.
Feeling inspired by the stunning scenery surrounding Revelstoke? Head into The Office and Art Supply Store and stock up on a sketchbook, pencils and paints.
Continue walking along First Street and visit Art First Gallery! Here you will find a treasure trove of exciting art created by local artists. It’s well worth a visit and there’s always one of the artists on duty who will happily talk to you about their work and maybe even be working on a piece.
Check the Community Calendar for the list of festivals and events to join in on the fun.
